Worldwide, there are over 12,000 plants whose ingredients offer a soothing or  healing effect to both humans and animals. What we have come to appreciate  is the overlap between these benefits and the enjoyment factor they can offer  through the rich variety of spices used in the food sector.  At Victualium our priority is to work with the plants that our surroundings give  us. The black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) is central to this.
